The Liburdi Seam Tracker™

The Liburdi Seam Tracker system is a flexible structured light sensory system.  Consisting of a high precision remote sensing head and a high speed vision interface card which plugs into a PC Based Computer.  The sensor uses a laser and camera to generate 3D dimensional information of the subject which then processed by the vision interface card to establish the location of a contour of the desired feature.  This direct analysis of the 3D data by computer eliminates the need for an intermediate controller normally used by other seam tracking systems.
